From the Palouse last weekend. This was my favorite shot of all the barns we saw and photographed. Now I know some of you might be shocked to hear this, but I actually took some wider angle landscape shots that I'll share with you, too. It was a fun trip. Early for canola but lots and lots of gorgeous green wheat and peas and lentils. Thanks for looking in.
Great shot Catherine. I love the texture in the various siding elements and that fading red is awesome.

Catherine,
Very nice image.... I was in the Palouse 2 ago and you are right about the Canola. I found one nice field west of Colfax but that was about it.
It's been a weird year.
Again, very nice. Peaceful looking image.

I like this shot and the windows and colors.....I am, however, having trouble with the urc and the curved roof
Lovely color Catherine! I'd be tempted to crop out that ulc that shows just a tad above the roof, and if I was hanging it on a wall I'd probably take the time to remove the wire as well. Otherwise, very nice.
Thanks, John. I didn't even notice the grass in bg ulc, it looks so similar in tome to the barn roof. Thanks for pointing it out. Definitely needs to get lost.
Catherine,
I'm almost wondering if it should be split up into two images. Top and bottom. It does work as is but I feel i'm in a bit of a 'tug of war" with it.
Very nice, Catherine. Great color, a little texture and the light/shadow play in the rafters is a nice touch as well. My first thought was along the line of Erik's tug of war comment, though the more I look at it, the more I think it needs that tension created by the distance between the upper and lower windows. Either way - great eye.
