Red in a sea of Green
Catherin's image from the Palouse inspired me to share this one.
The red bard was so bright in the late afternoon light against the sea of green.

This was shot late in the day, with my Nikon 300 F4, Polarized. Windy and a long exposure. I own a good tripod ( Gitzo) and it was still a challenge!).

Nice shot, Jack. I got one too in the sunrise light. Steptoe is real fun in the sweet light.

And thanks, glad you enjoyed the barn.

Beautiful image. You captured the light perfectly and the little barn definitely pops out with nice detail in the sea of green. Stunning.

I love the green and red Jack; that barn is a winner. I'd be tempted to crop out the top and left a bit to concentrate on the better lighting in the foreground &/or use a bit of local contrast enhancement to remove some of the haze in the distance.
