This was shot thursday at Timothy Lake. The original PLAN, was to get to Trillium lk by 5am for a clear Mt Hood sunrise... only problem was Trillium Lk was still closed from winter snows and Mt Hood was shrouded in low clouds. Continued down to Timothy Lk and waited for the clouds to burn off and shot some rhody's while waiting. I realize the bee is a tad soft but like him anyway.
The good news for everyone is, park service opened Trillium Lake and you can now add to the hundreds of shots you already have. stopped on the way home, the roads are clear with a little roadside snow.
Very heartening to see this rhododendron growing out where it's supposed to be. Nice shot.

Craig, nice idea here....
the image is somewhat soft..therefore the bee not being clear.......
I was at Trillium lake today shooting at about 4:12am.......then up to white river and then back to Trillium for better light.......Timberline lodge is pretty bright on the dark mountain at that hour...but the lake is wonderful and clear and clean now.......
