Puffin at sunrise + REPOST
I got to spend a couple of days on Skomer the other week. Great to have the island all to ourselves at the start and end of each day. This puffin sat outside its burrow as the sun came up behind it.

Canon 5D, 100-400 IS L, hand held, f7.1, 1/800s

On another note, myself a a friend had four pages of text and images printed in DIVER magazine this month - a first for us so we're very please

Nice edge lighting, and control of the harsh DR.

Lovely shot Matt with great light. I know it is early morning, cold light, but it might stand a slightly higher colour temp as the whites look very blue on my screen. :wavey: Eric

Love the back lighting on this one. It is a little blue on my gear too.
Good shot though.

Really like this shot: the alternating bands of brightness and shade as well as the daisies make a great BG. Only comment is the blueish tint as others have mentioned

Thanks for the comments - have tried changing the colours - how's this?
