Brown Bear in habitat
No close-up this time. I think it would be something else for a change to post a bear in his natural enviro. Agree?

iso 320 1/160sec. F8 Nikon 24-85 full frame

Hi Edwin,
congratulations from me for this wonderful series.
Normal European nature photographers have very rare
possibilities to shoot brown bear in Europe. I know from
friends who have been to Alaska for three weeks not met
a single one.
friendly greetings,
Bertl

Edwin

Yes I agree, personally I always think the environment enhances the image particularly of subjects like this

Hi Edwin
Half expecting the bear to walk off through the corridor of trees behind it, such is the sense of place projected by the image - very well captured, great use of space!

Great natural habitat shot, Edwin. We need more of such captures, portrait shots are great but do not tell the whole story. Thanks for shareing this with us. :toast: :toast: :toast:
