Off trail falls that requires a steep descent through heavy bush and unstable ground. After making the trip down the canyon a necessary walk up the stream "bed" ( floor may be a better way to describe it ) leads to the base of this beauty. It was making its own weather Friday night. A nice cool break from the heat.
This is a pretty standard look. The angle of the "curtain" gives the appearance of a slant at the top. I have some alternate views that include the stream at the base and are more squared up. The shot was taken just before sunset on a clear day so light could have been a little better, but you have to take what nature gives you!
Special thanks to Bryan Swan's site www.waterfallsnorthwest.com for location details.
Bryan, I don't know what falls this is, but it's a beautiful capture. Shutter speed, color and sharpness all look great. My only minor nit is that the framing feels a little tight to me. My brain wants to see a little more of the surroundings.

Looks like Upper Bridal Veil Falls in the CRG. Very nice!
Phillip you got it! I am not sure if that is an officially recognized name but its the only one i've heard.
Hans - thanks for the input, I have a couple other wider views that I still need to process. I agree it is nice to see a little more of the surroundings with the falls.
