Yellow Hammer
Now to bore you all again with wet dickie shots. First time in the pool hide for a while. Nothing much else to do. Trouble is a lot of the birds are in moult. The Yellow hammers are still OK though.
Soon be time for migrants going through !! Crikey !! The years gone .

Another cracker John - along with the same old single nit - POV   :wavey: :wavey:

If only you could dig a hole at the side of the pool to get that lens down to the birds eye level - crikey you'd produce on heck of a collection

Hi John,

I like this a lot, and prefer it to your other 'muddy pool' shots  The background detail and greenery make for a much nicer enviro shot.

Cheers,

Dan.

Lovely setting for this gorgeous bird!
I agree with Andy though that a lower POV would be better.

Thanks all .
Lower POV would be great but I don't like reflections and I don't like chopping reflections in half and I can't move the pool and I can't move the hide. The floor is already 14 inches below water level anyway
All I can do is start somewhere else and I,m too old! :frown:
