Tern (common or artic?)
Had a good weekend on Bass Rock and Farne Islands. Question: Common or Artic Tern? Managed to get a few good pictures and this is one I was quite pleased with on my first edit of too many duff images. These and the puffins are tricky little blighters to get in flight and so I was pleased to get one with fish as well.

Hi Robert,
Nice sharp capture with just about the right amount of blur in the wingtips for me. the whites are fairly well held as well with plenty of detail.
As for the species, i would go for common, as i can just make out a black or dark tip to the bill & it also seems to have quite a long neck & bill also.
Regards
Rob
