Mount Yale reflection, Collegiate Peaks Wilderness
Taken between storms on Sunday afternoon. Still quite a bit of snow in the nooks and crannies up there, but manageable enough to find a spot to set up a tripod.

Great shot Todd. I love the spotlight coming thru the clouds. I like the ripples in the reflection too.

Really nice, Todd. I especially like the light and the watercolor effect on the reflection.

Is that Hartenstein Lake? I was up there a few years ago to shoot Yale, but the weather just didn't cooperate. Been meaning to head back there again.

Very nice Todd. Good texture in the lake and nice light on the peak.

Sweet shot - and a majestic view.

Really nice shot. As mentioned, the ripples yield a nice painterly effect in the reflection. My only nit would be in the right hand portion of the sky where I'd expect the clouds to be a dark gray instead of blue.

This is awesome, Todd. The light is killer and those clouds add a lot of drama. Beautiful reflection, too.

Love it, it appears from this and other posts, you've been doing a lot of traveling and really raking in the gold! While you were up there playing with the light, I was in my kayak playing on the Arkansas 8 miles upstream of Buena Vista in the Numbers section.

That light and color on the peaks is great. Perhaps it's an optical illusion, but it looks like there's a CW tilt to me.

Gorgeous scene! I love the warm light/stormy sky combo. Your shots often have me thinking "man, that would make a great place to camp".

You're killing me, man. I've yet to get out this summer so I'm living vicariously through you, keep it up.
Beautiful shot, and I think I know where it was taken from. I thought I'd be up that way by now.
Keep 'em coming!
