Kingfisher(Alcedo athis)
Managed to get onto some kingfishers at long last, the water levels have been up and down again this year and it has been very difficult to get them using any introduced perches on a regular basis.
While there is a lot of room left to crop i have left things as is as I am happy with the overall composition.

Nikon D3,500 F4afs.iso 500,1/80,f5,Hide,Perch introduced onto well used fishing stretch.
(has lost a bit of saturation in conversion)
Cheers

Hi Craig

I can't make any judgement on the image as I am looking on a laptop with a pretty naff screen at the moment (en route to Paris but don't get jealous )

Regarding the loss of sat;, it suggest to me that you are not saving the image with an sRGB colorspace before uploading as there is no reason why it should lose saturation

Very fine shot Craig,
I agree with Barry. Saturation. And I would give a bit more space at the left side.
Have fun! :toast:

Craig
Nice one, and I would agree with Birtl if you can do it.
