There have been a couple of threads on both the Avian and UKNP sites discussing whether birds look better taken from a low POV or from the angle via which one normally sees them, and whether wider angle lenses give a better perspective than a long telephoto. Interesting questions that prompted me to look at some images from a few months ago. There are no right or wrong answers.
I had forgotten about this one. Believe me – I couldn’t have got any lower than this! It represents one extreme of the spectrum and comments/ critique are welcome as always.
Each image has its place and merits .
This is a wonderful shot, great background colour reflecting onto the waters surface,I love it!!!
Wheres the skuba gear!!!!!
That's a lovely shot, light and exposure are excellent. I like POV's at the animal's head height like this as that's how the animals themselves see the world.

This is exactly the kind of shot that cries our for a low angle.(not wide). You don't have a reflection problem either.
Wonderful picture.

"worth getting wet for!"
Didn't get wet at all!
I was sitting on a rock below the little dam, over which the water flows out of the pond. Scarf, gloves and a cuppa, chatting to passers-by.
