Hi all,

Just to prove we do get some sunshine in the UK....

Taken on the Farnes a couple of weekends ago.

1DMK3, 24-70 at 25mm, f8 and 1/1250. ISO200.

C&C welcome.

Thanks

Austin

About as good a flight shot coming in as you can get.
I wonder how many camera "activations " have taken place on the Farnes this year ?
Cheers

I took hundreds myself at the Farnes trying to get this shot - and failed! Well done! He must have been rather close to your head.

Hi Ian,

Too close at times !!

I have many OOF images, even at 24mm focal length, where the subject was too close to obtain focus. I ended up lying on the ground to get the best images.

Thanks

Austin

Like the light coming through the wing and tail feathers-A pop of fill in may have helped put a glint in the eye but great as is

About as symmetrical as you can get and I really like the backlighting through the feathers
