Kingfisher
I went back to the public hide with a KF nest yesterday in very dreary conditions but the KF's were very obliging and i managed a few images, I have now located a KF nest on my local river so hope to start getting some better shots there

Absolutely lovely composition and light. If anything I find the grass like strand on the far right a little distracting where it overlaps the branch - draws the eye quite a bit. Tristan

Agree with Tristan about the grassy bit and the head looks a teeny weeny tad soft to me Dave, just not quite as sharp as the body.

But the comp is a cracker with the eyeline perfectly aligned with the branch and that BG is lovely.

Looking forward to seeing the next ones Dave :wavey: :wavey:

HI Dave,

Lovely Kingfisher shot!
Nice to see the white tip at the bill wich is used so the parents can find them in the nest whilst feeding the youngsters.

Greetings,
