Red deer in the mist
Hi everyone.

yesterday evening my feeding site payed off. This wonderful animal came for just 3 minutes. But that's long enough for me:) It was quite misty but I really like the mood it created.

iso 320 1/40 sec. F5.6

Very nice image Edwin the muted colours are a contrast to the deer which is nice and sharp. I would have liked to see it a lttle bit darker ( but that could be my monitor )

Yes very nice.
I thought about having it a bit darker but it might loose the "misty" feel.
Good though.

Thanks guys

I'm feeding them with pelleted feed. You can buy it at stores where they sell food for horses, pigs, goats etc.
Just a hand full per deer is enough to attract deer for just a few minutes.
Don't feed them, just lure them!!!!

Really lovely image and I bet the simplicity and misty tones obscure the amount of planning time and patience it took to get. Great stuff Edwin

Wow Ed fantastico I think us brits take red deer for granted because we have so many of them but in Holland there is less than a thousand so you have done really well to get such a beautiful shot.
