Tide Pool Last Month
This was shot early on the AM of a -3 tide at Seal Rock SP. What an experience. Having the heron hunting behind the rock was a plus.

I really like the line you've carried through this image and the heron focal point Jack. The foreground looks unsharp to me, so either a tad more sharpening or a small crop from the bottom - unfortunately a small crop hurts your composition, by making the foregound much less interesting.

 -3 !! Wow, what fun! Slippery, but fun. How exciting to have the heron there.

I was thinking the shot looks slightly soft. The foreground appears to have more potential, but I can see you wanted to capture the Heron in the shot.

I think there may be a touch too much mid ground in the comp.(IMHO) The Heron adds a nice touch.

Yup the heron adds a great interest point for sure. Is this a full frame image or a crop there of? Because the overall resolution seems far less than the Nikon D200 can produce.

This photo is very effective at showcasing the environmental aspects of the tidepools. I like the fact it takes just a moment to notice the Heron (it did for me, anyway). The web presentation doesn't look nearly sharp enough though. Something some extra processing can fix.
