Spent a very pleasurable couple of hours with my local Stoats today , heres one of the shots from this morning with Mr Stoat in full hunting mode , thanks for looking and apologies for the lack of participation over the last few weeks.

I know the scenario Andrew.
I've binned a couple of hundred otter shots recently because the bleeding camera couldn't get a decent hit rate on them.
John
There's hardly any stoat or weasel shots on the forum, and there is a good reason why, I've seen so few of these in my lifetime, despite growing up in the countryside. It's a really good shot of a rare (on film) subject
Cracking shot, nit covered. When you see a still shot like this you tend to think it's quite easy but when they are there in front of you they are barely still for a second so well done to get this image.

Would I be right in saying that the camera's found focus on the front feet and not they eye?
Cheers,
John
Thats quite possible John , when he's on the hunt he's very difficult to keep track of so I tend to use multiple focus points to stay locked on.
