I think this this a great image - excellent composition, light, and I love the low angle that adds so much depth. B&W gives it a very different feel to most images of this subject. Good stuff. Tristan

I think this is very nice indeed.
A well thought-out idea and a most effective result. :toast:

Very nice, different image Chris. Just as a matter of interest, what is it like in colour? I would think it woks equally well.

In response to Robert: yes the image does work in colour but there is a fair amount of colour-noise due to the ISO 1250 setting/low light (1/20 @ f4). Obviously this could be processed out, but I would have plumbed for the b&w tint treatment anyway - it really adds something to atmosphere of the picture. I'm not sure if the image is of commercial value as a b&w, but then, it is about producing images YOU enjoy isn't it?

Very different, very beautiful, very well done! I think it is perfect as is and wouldn't change anything... apart from the copyright to say it was mine! This should look great as a 20" pano on the wall. :toast: :toast:
