Osprey in flight
Just back from a very productive weeks trip up to the west highlands of Scotland. This is one of a sequence of Osprey out fishing late one evening over a salmon farm near Aviemore, awesome birds...

cropped square for composition
D300 and 300mm 2.8 with 1.7 TC (500mm)
1/1250 sec at f4.8, ISO 200
AWB auto
very small amount of sharpening in CS3

thanks for looking

cheers

I would love to see these in the wild here in the UK. You have captured it well and long may they continue to breed and expand their range.
