Hoh Rainforest Layers
Just returned a day earlier than planned from a trip with my Dad to the Olympic Peninsula. We visted Topeka Point near Third Beach, and then camped out along the Hoh River Trail. We were skunked with weather the entire time, and bit off more than we could chew hiking wise, so time for photo-shoots was limited.
We did get some great lighting in the forest, but here a shot from the river looking back at the forest. The weather was horrible, but the fog was spectacular. I tried to frame the layers of trees and fog throughout the image to the far treetops and their silhouettes.

C&C Appreciated.

The conditions definitely support this type of shot, and the image works well for me. I would suggest cropping about an inch off the top.

Ditto re: the crop. Nice shot with the fog that shows just why there's a rain forest there! The greens look great.

I like this shot as well. First thing I thought when I viewed though was "crop out the sky".

Ditto on the sky for sure - it adds nothing but a distraction from what's going on with the clouds and trees.
