Even just driving through? Seems like a lot of people have been driving around WY lately. I'd love to hear about the snow conditions - if you've been up there in the last week or so.

Thanks!

Hello Jesse, good to hear from you! Afraid I haven't been up there yet this year, hoping to remedy that soon though. Hopefully Brett Deacon will chime in soon, as he mentioned he was headed up there last week. Brett?

Thanks Brent! I talked to Brett today. The Snowy Range is ... uh ... really snowy right now.

May put off this trip a couple weeks.

Jesse - you move to Montana then you want to drive down to the Snowy Range?

It's high on my list ... and I want to do it before gas hits $8.

Winter MIGHT give up here in MT by mid-August too.

I'm thinking about heading up there this weekend. If you are still interested I can report back.

Thanks Doug. I ended up backpacking in the Wind Rivers, instead of visiting the Snowies. There's a chance I may make it down there in a couple weeks. I'm sure many - myself included - would love to see some fresh pics from the area. (You might also contact Brett Deacon. It's his backyard, and he can tell you exactly what to expect ... i.e. a lot of snow still!)

I'm going to re-title this "Anyone NOT been to the Snowy range?"
