I've made myself a new website! Lay-out has totally changed since I was unable to keep my older website up to date.

This website is powered by Wordpress which makes it a whole lot easier to update and to let people know what I’m doing.

I've got a guestbook too now.

Hope you like it and I’m ready to hear it if you have any tips and hints and whatever!!

Images will be updated regularly! It's a lot easier than it was on my older website.

Voila:

Let me know what you think!

I think it looks grand Sam - I particularly like the 'Abstracts' gallery; and I wish we had tree frogs in this country!

The pic of the Barn Owl on the flash movie - I'd clone out the flying feather.

Looks very good Sam :wavey: :wavey:

Hi Sam. From the outset, its a good looking, easy to use website. Functional and practical. The only negative thing for me was have to click on <Portfolio> each time to get back to the gallery menu to view a different gallery. I know navigation is quite limiting with the online templates, so there is no other way around it.

I think your strongest subjects are the abstracts, birds, and insects. My advice would be to focus on what you obviously have a great talent for (abstracts, birds, and insects). Combine the insects, dragonflies+butterflies, and some of the flowers images into one great portfolio. Most of the flowers have a strong insect element or focal point and they are very good images. Drop the flowers until you have more range or add the images into your abstract/details gallery as most are abstract isolations anyway.

Just my advice and I am sure other will have their own thoughts. :wavey:

Thanks for your advice Elliott!!
I'm going to try to fix the navigation but I can't promise anything

I'll do the galleries like your proposal, looks like a good idea!!
