Wheatear
Taken on a very windy day on the seafront. I wasn't too sure whether to leave the background as it was - or to clean it up. I have left it in the original state!! C&C please.

Nice pastel shades in this image of one of my favourite birds. It is perhaps a little light.

I like this as is Kim, very complementary colours and a nice head turn

I like the picture as is. A bird in his/her natural environment. Both having the same colours.
I think I agree with Paul, that it is a little light.

Besides that I find it a nice and good picture.

Kim, the Bird is presented very nice. The composition is fine. Head turn is perfect.
But. For me that seems to be a rather strong crop. The blown high lights in the grass and the stones in the foreground and in the erea over the eye, the very noisy bg are an advice for that. Also too strong tonal value adjustment can cause this effect. Dont cut it out after capture, get closer before capture.
keep having fun Kim,
greetings,
Bertl

I like this. The composition is superb and that out of focus whatever it is to the left of the birds head is great. IThe whole thing just needs darkening down a bit I reckon. Try it.
Do as you are told !!

Have to agree with the general consensus Kim a very nice shot but could do with darkening a little bit

Hi again, I agree - I have lightened the Wheatear - - the bird is better I think - not too sure about the background!

I'd try putting the bg through a noise filter on a seperate layer and that would do for me. Much better in the repost. Nice one.
