I spent a little over a week in Oregon in late June and thought I'd share some of the pics. I browsed through some of your web sites and this forum for ideas on places to shoot, so thanks for posting all your great shots. My Oregon shots are nothing out the ordinary ... mostly iconic places. But having never seen most of these places, I was quite impressed and will have to return someday. Here's a link to the pics. The Oregon shots are sort of mixed in at random w/ CA & WY shots.
Your homework paid off in spades Grant. This is a very nice presentation!

I went up and looked too! Wow - you've got some better pictures in there from your few weeks here than some of us have after years of photographing in the northwest. Well done!
Wow, Grant! What a fantastic series of photos! I'd say you got the best out of a relatively short trip. The light was sure with you and you made the best of that too. I particularly enjoy your more intimate views of the painted hills and the ones of Yellowstone, but all are just delightful.
Btw, thanks for your comment on "Sagging..." That was a fun barn to shoot. I do hope you get to return to our great PNW and perhaps check out the Palouse region on the WA/ID border near Pullman/Moscow. Springtime and harvest time are best.

Excellent portfolio, Grant. I love the shafts of copper light in the Redwoods.
