Strike A Pose...!

Hi Folks,

Was down on the Surrey heaths over the past week or so and have had a very hectic week since, so my apologies for not commenting on your fantastic posts recently but will try and get round to doing more over the coming few days.

This female Adder was quite gravid and she was basking only to become very aware (!) of my colleague whom she wouldn't take her eyes off. This gave e the opportunity to drop to my belly and get a profile portrait..

I love this one Brett. Pose and composition are excellent, a study in concentration. Very powerful portrait.
