Hi one from early this morning, these guys are so hard to get, I liked this pic out of all the ones i took, he stretched his head up to look over.

A nice image. They are lovely birds and I do like this pose that you have caught. Haven't managed one this year!!

well composed and good eye contact. Looks a bit noisy, perhaps from compression. Whitethroats are normally a species I enjoy photographing but I haven't got around to it this year.

NIce shot Mark I like the pose and eye contact, they are tricky little buggers to catch so far this year I have heard loads of them and pictured none

hi thanks for the feedback, i have been using capture NX for PP, not sure if i have the USM and NR right yet.

if anyone can give me some advice on reasonable settings when using this SW, that would be cool.

I forgot to mention its quite a tight crop, hence thats probably whats causing the noise.. I am playing with the image to see if i can improve it.

A month ago, you'd never seen one of these now they are everywhere!

Nice pose Mark well caught. Get saving for that big lens so that you can leave the crop tool behind.
