Hi,

Great to meet up with Tom, Rob and Paul at Wicken Fen today... we all concentrated on close ups (well almost), problem was there is a definate lack of subjects, Tom and Paul headed of for breakfast when Rob spied this wonderful specimen (Oh to have young eyesight again), after a while we where able to coax it onto a good perch...

Once again great to meet up today..

The dark background really makes it stand out. I'm starting to think you were a circus performer in a previous life Phil, I mean butterfly taming and balancing on step ladder under a blanket.

Phil,

Great shot. I think the sharpening is spot on.

Good to meet you, and look forward to catching up in the future.

Hi Phil. Great subject and well shot. I doubt whether I could have spot these either! My only criticism (and it is minor) is the framing. Its just a little tight on the left for me. Lovely and crisp through and through. If you return to Wicken Fen, please let me know! Would be good to finally meet up. :wavey:

Hi Phil,

Stunning image of a fine looking camo subject! I know I would indeed struggle to find one of these!

Hi Phil, A fine example of this BF and you've captured everything spot on from DOF to BG, all there and in superb detail.
