Nice one Guy, the care you put into your images makes it very hard to find fault, in this case I really love the composition and the pastel bg, I just wish the OOF far wing was not there, not in your control I know....

Hello PhilH.

Thanks for your comment.

I have removed the out of focus wing, hope you find this better.

All the best Guy. :wavey:

a beautifully elegant shot Guy, very well taken. I must admit I do prefer the cloned version.

This is a really nice image Guy. I can't recall seeing such a 'painterly' effect on a macro image before. The pastel background really lifts this out of the norm and yet there is still a tremendous amount of detail. Good composition as well.

Guy,

Excellent image. Agree with the Robert, the pastel background really makes this a different image.

Well done,

Rob

A beautiful image, Guy. The colours and comp really make for subtly different dragonfly fly profile with bags of interest. I didn't think the oof wing didn't bother me too much, but the cloned out version is better. :toast:

Hi Guy,

Faultless image IMO! You've got a very high bar Mr Rogers!

Hi Guy a very nice image, I thought it had a very strong sharpening halo but on closer inspection it is the backlighting.

Phil.

Hello Phil.

Thank you for your comment.

Yes the bright areas out lining on the image is due to back lighting. The low res image does not help to see this clearly, so I can see were your coming from. :wavey:
