Unexpected Gust
Canon EOS 1Ds MKII, 300/2.8, 1.4x conv, f8, 1/1600, ISO 400, RAW, RSE, CS2, Slight crop, hand held.

Hi All,

I was watching this bird through the view finder just hanging in the air, then an unexpected gust got him/her all out of shape. Hit the shutter button and just got lucky!

All comments welcome

Rob

Great action shot out of kilter flying reminds me of a few flying students.

Excellent and different shot Rob. They might get a bit out of shape, but they never lose control do they?

You only get shots like this through sheer hard graft Rob - a 300 2.8 is a heavy lump to keep up there for protracted lengths of time just waiting for something like this - more effort than some folks will appreciate - nice one matey :toast: :wavey:
