Ice Lake Basin?

I have atrip planned for Aug. 6th. Has anyone been up in this area yet this year?

I was in Durango over July 4th and asked a local who had been up there a couple days prior. At that time there was still a decent amount of snow in the basin though I suspect much of it has melted off by now.

Give Backcountry Experience in Durango a call at 970-247-5830.
They're very helpful folks, and if they don't know anything about the conditions at the basin, they'll find someone who will.

That's funny, John! The person I spoke with was one of the employees at Backcountry Experience. My wife and I are friends with the owners. Great people and a great shop!
