Looks like the smoke aided in your warm colors, Momo. This is a really excellent shot, very pastoral.

You are right Todd. The light was great for a full hour thanks to the smoke. I probably got 8-10 nice comps that evening, since I had so much time to play around.

Nicely composed with a sweet balance and fine reflection.
Glad you were able to capture some clouds, too.

I like everything about this one, Momo!

Great feeling to this one. Nice reflection and soft light.
Was this from your Harrison Flat trip? How did that go?

Hi Kalin.

We did not end up going to Harrison Flat (this is Molas Pass), as we were too afraid of thunderstorms last weekend. I definitely want to go some time soon though. :toast:

I thought that looked like Little Molas Lake when I first opened it up. Beautiful shot. Very tranquil. I really like the warm tones.

This is gorgeous, Momo. It's a quintessential alpine scene and you've captured it wonderfully.

Momo...this is a masterpiece... I like the subtle colors and reflection in beautiful light. Is this Molas lake? Mountains look a bit different than what you see from US 550.... regards, Rajeev. :toast:

A very pleasing comp, Momo. The grasses really add a lot to the image.
