Hey all! just got back from a 2 week journey to Colorado and thought I'd post a shot
Lone Cone, the western most peak of the San Juans elevation is around 12,000

Course, you didn't mention that on this trip you were at 11,000 plus feet a few times!!

LOL! Yeah I did forget to mention that. Also needed to mention that David was kind enough to make the journey down from Denver to show me around a day or two!
I've known David since sometime in 04 we meet on a site we both used to post at, it was good to meet him in person!
I love the foreground here, but whats that in the distance? Is that a mountain? I thought they had real mountains out there. It looks like a pimple on a warthog's fanny.
Can't wait to see more...

Even putting my tripod legs in the holes you left couldn't help me to get those shots, though...
Wondeful lighting...
Looks like a view the indians would have seen heading west.
Since you have been gone we have seen Fawns, Dragon flies, Frogs, a creek shot and Richard is running for president.
Thanks for sharing your journey and we are glad you made it back safely...

Great photo, I hope to see more and hope you enjoyed your trip
I am still not too sure about posting on the forum so correct me if I mess up.
