I have continued to photograph the Fox Cubs and visit every other night, I put a small amount of food in 3 places and now have them come up towards the hide, Last night this cub sat down and watched a Green Woodpecker that was calling in a nearby tree

Canon 1D3 500F4+1.4x 1/100@F5.6 +2/3 Silent shutter mode+cable release

Wonderful stuff Dave.
I am having a similar experience with the two cubs here. I've tempted them to 20 foot in front of the hide as you are doing by feeding.
They are great to watch.As your pic shows- so inquisitive especially to anything new .

another lovely cub shot. It is interesting how pale these foxes are. I don't think I've ever seen them this pale before.
