Having seen some cracking images recently, i have decided it is time to join in the fun and post some of my own work. i hope you enjoy viewing my photo's.
This Pair of Spotted Hyena (Crocuta crocuta), were having a great time Playing in the river close to Ndutu Lodge, in Tanzania. On this Particular Morning light levels for Africa were quite low, so this was shot at ISO 800.
This family were quite clearly not in hunting mode. They would gang up on one member, before switching allegiance and starting attacking playfully another member of the Clan. Most would have blooded ears by the end of the session.
Welcome Nigel. I am sure you will enjoy the forum. This is a great shot and an interesting one. Normally with the positioning of the heads, people might suggest the would be better to the left of centre. With this shot though because of the turning of the animal it is going "back" into the shot. Works a treat for me anyway..

Welcome Nigel. An interesting shot. Normally I would have positioned the animals to the left of the image but I agree with John that in this case the position works. I think perhaps the trail of splashes balances it.

Welcome!
Nice shot, I agree with what others have said, you've caught the moment really well. I feel the background would be better if it were a bit more blurred, as I find it a little distracting, but I know sometimes these things can't be helped!
Welcome Nigel. Agree with the other comments that the comp works here. Can't help wishing to see a shot of them on the left though, just to satisfy my curious mind
Looks nicely processed and I assume this was around f8-10?
Look forward to more

No addition to the other comments. I'm also curious. So if you have a shot with them animals on the right side.
Agree with what has been covered so far.
