Back from Alaska
Just wanted to share this image taken from the porch of my room. I visited Cordova on the Orca Inlet. It was around 11:30 pm! You gotta love those long Summer days in Alaska.

Welcome back Mary. Amazing blues in this shot and some wonderful clouds, both in the sky and hugging the water. Looks like you had a tough stay but oh well, someone has to suffer! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Mary, what a wonderful shot at 11:30pm, very neat! It must be a magical area not experienced many places. The blues are very classic. Nice to see images from such a beautiful part of the planet. Well done.

Very nice image Mary, I really like the late evening blues and the low hanging clouds. I have Alaska on my list and hope to get there next summer. Sounds like you had a good trip!

Mary,
Great Shot! The balance of the trees and their reflection in front of the low clouds is compelling.

Hard to go to sleep when it's still light at 11 pm!

Thanks,
Rod
