Loon from N. H. lake

I took this image in the first weekend of July. It was a beautiful weekend. Saw a few moose,loons (no chicks),whitetail deer,Ruffed Grouse(no Spruce grouse),Osprey,Eagles with chicks, and a black bear. The moose were not that plentiful. I don't know if it was the nice weather or being the 4th of July weekend. But Scott Perry and I had a great time!. Looking forward to get back real soon.

Great light, nice exposure and nice photo!! The tree reflection(?) is a bit distracting though. You forgot to mention the fox kits!!

Where did you see all this wildlife? I go up to NH to Squam Lake and have never seen a bear and eagles only out in the distance.

Oh and I would be interested in what time of day and what filters were used too please.

Hi Donald, We were in the Ct. lakes region and north of Errol NH.
