Took this last night in terrible conditions. been waiting to get it for some time but the light is never right.
Says a bit for the camera though
On the Hi 1 iso setting which I believe is about 2000 ISO.
Treated with edge preserving smooth tool in Paint Shop Pro.Noise wasn't thast bad really.
D200 Sigma 100-500mm
80th sec - hence the un sharpness, @ f7.1
Nice record shot if nothing else.
cheers

This is an image i have wanted since starting the cub project so i am dead jealous, The most i have seen is some snarling and growling-This is great and the image doesnt need to be totally sharp,it shows power, agression and sibling rivalry -works nicely as is-i would take out the barbed wire at the top but thats it
Dave
Hee hee! Great answer John.! Agree though, do take out the wire, it's a great action shot and shows the amount of time you have spent to gather such images. I do find myself thinking that the grass is a little over saturated too. Might be how it was I don't know. Anyway, well captured.
A wonderful momment captured John. Jealous as H**l!
The repost is certainly an improvement and at this size you could possibly get away with a little more selective sharpening.

Yes take out that barb wire and possibly with a bit more tweaking you would have a great action shot.
