I got out this morning with the Nedster and another friend Rick to do some shooting on the Lewis River. Found myself wading in the stream, snappin away and basically came home with a bunch of crap waterfall shots, LOL. I think I only got about two decent shots, I'm so out of practice. Hopefully the other guys came home with more keepers.

Anyway, I thought this little plant among the rocks made for a neat shot. Let me know what you think.

Very nicely done Eric, I’m a big fan of these simple compositions.

Nice detail. I like these also.

I really like the composition and the colors with the gold rock and the lovely green with the drops. I was thinking I may have cut some from the bottom, but then, after looking some more, your way is best.

I too am a big fan of these intimate compositions. Love how the rocks create a natural frame around the little plant. Well done Eric.

Great shot! You always come up with the best little intimate views like these... :toast:

I don't think anything is lowly when its memory is captured so well.

Lovely intimate scane. Lots of shapes to look at, and the plant is in a sweet spot looking quite like the star of the show. Well done. I like it.

Really well done Eric. I'll echo the above compliments. My only nit, I would love to see the lrc in focus too (a blended shot?).

No blends here John, just a 100 macro at the wrong focus point.

Sorry, I meant you might have needed a blended shot to get that much dof, not suggesting that it was.
