Mt Rainier
For the last 2 weeks my wife and I have spent putting some miles on exploring the beautiful state of Washington. Last summer we went to Alaska. I can't say which is better? I love them both, but it was much easier to get around Washington. We flew into Seattle rented a car on logged 1100 miles (not counting ferry's). We had a great time!!! :jump: :jump: I Took over 1500 images!!! :jump: I have so many I need to upload to my website!

I can't wait to get out there again!

Take care,

The state of Washington is incredibly photogenic. A nature photographer could spend several lifetimes there and not run out of places to shoot. Mt. Rainier is amazing. I've been there 4 or 5 times, and I may be heading back in three weeks (I'll be in Wash for a week beginning 8/12). I'll be sure to visit your website to check out your images. Thanks for the heads-up.

Mike, nice picture, I wish we had mountains here,(Rib, Spirit and Lutsen don't count. they are hills) I have one critique and that is the small portion of road in the lower left. I do enjoy the view with the flowers on the ledge and Mt. Rainer in the BG. Let us know how many you decide to delete or how long the entire package takes to process. Good Luck and Nice work. BP

Beautiful, Mike. The flowers hanging on the cliff are a nice touch. Good luck with all your images.

Cool composition Mike, I don't recall seeing one like it before at any point. I look forward to whatever else you have to share.

Love those flowers on the face of the rock, Mike!

The flowers make the shot. It would be nice to get back out there when the flowers are really in bloom in August. I managed to get to the top a couple of times in my younger days.

WE had a cool wet spring so everything was about 2-3 weeks late this year. So far pretty normal summer. The wildflowers at Hood & Rainer are just coming into full force.

.... I do miss the prairie flowers though.
Scott---send me a note when you get here or before. I maybe up at Rainier for a day or 2. It' only about 2 1/2 hrs from me.
