Another in my cattail (Typha Latifolia) "series". I said they would make a good subject in composition class for me so this was a little playing around with that. I crawled into the middle of some and squatted down trying for get a different look. This was right after the sun had set. I done some extreme saturation and sharpening to try to get them to stand out a bit.
I'll get off my cattail kick after maybeeeeee one more post!
Hey Brad, I can handle at least one more post if they look like this. Nice take on a subject that can be very difficult to shoot. Now if you could only have the moon right up there between a couple of the stalks - - - It's always good to dream... Nice shot and I like the composition.
Wonderful composition, Brad. The sky is a great shade of blue, but I would like to see more color in the cattails. Nice work!

Good comp, Brad - wish the light was more dramatic.

A pleasing comp Brad. I like the diagonal flow of the cattails and the nice blue bg. This is one where a little fill flash may have enhanced the subjects. Looking forward to number three.
