This is my first time trying to upload photos, and I continue to get an error message stating not valid jpg file. I read through other topics re: this, and changed my image size to 720 pixels on my website and it still wont upload, I have tried a couple of times without any luck. So Im unsure what the problem is. I have signed up for the 30 day free trial, will I be able to upload images from my pc, without entering the url address during the trial?
I'm not sure what limitations there are on the free trial, but if you see both an "upload .jpg image" field and an "Enter URL address" field, you'll have the option to do either. Assuming that you have the upload option and can browse your PC for imags, the only thing I can think of is that either your file has not been saved as a .jpg, or it exceeds the 200kb limit.
As Rick mentioned, there's 2 boxes/options when uploading an image. the first box you can upload the image directly and there's a browse button to find the jpg on your computer. In this case the 200kb limit is checked.
I think you are referring to the 2nd box where you can enter the url of the image located on your web hosting server. You would simply enter something like this:

An interesting thing though with the images on your web page. I notice that my cursor changes to the +/- to expand/contract the displayed size of the image. I'm wondering if this is why it's getting rejected as not a correct jpg? What program are you using to save your images and/or display them on your website? From the look of the site it looks like this is flash-based and I'm wondering if something is getting embedded in to the images to work with the flash.
I may be way off, but something is going on.
Have you tried uploading the image directly from your computer with the first option box?
