Early morning at a local lake.
I had posted this just yesterday in ES&S and got some helpful feedback. Including one very astute individual who mentioned if I had taken one step back I would have nailed this one. Along with others commenting on that particular version which had the very left branches going just off the edge of the frame. I actually agreed with those comments. So I have taken the opportunity to hopefully improve this with a little cloning of the left edge providing just a touch of separation between the edge of the branches and the edge of the frame.
I think I have it the way I prefer.
Hey Brad, You have it the way I would prefer it...Nice detail and the slight drop off of the horizon helps where it picks up a wider band of the fog. Nice comp.

I really like this shot Brad, and so close to home for you. You caught some great light & conditions and placed a wonderful subject right in front of it! Super work!
Very nice Brad. The fog isolates the tree nicely. I bet you return to that tree many times in years to come.

Beautiful! Perfect composition, light, everything. This would make a nice front cover shot for NPN. And any other place where great images are needed. Way to go!
