Another shot from the trip with Darren, Jimmy and Kalin.

One thing that might not come across here is that the foreground of the lake up to the floating snowberg is partially frozen. We passed this lake in route to Blue Lakes Pass.

Nice shot Mel! The blue sky and shadows are looking solid!

Looks like the expedition has been good so far. I'm suprised that Darren is trekking along so well after just coming off a long backpacking trip last week! Be sure to keep Jimmy in line, you know how notorious those Californians are

Nice!
Is that the jeep trail on the right?

Thanks guys.

Is that the jeep trail on the right?

No, but the jeep trail was blocked by a big drift before you would reach this point. Amazing how much snow is still up on the mountains.

Man, that snow just isn't going away up there! Neat shot. You did well to keep the snowy highlights in check.

Nice shot! I like seeing the submerged rocks under the reflections.
