Reflections
A small creek reflectiong its cover that feeds into the Skokomish River on the hook of Hood Canal. Comments welcome!

LOVE the repeating pattern/forms of the trees. Color is so restful, soothing. Overall a very interesting comp, too, with the fg elements blending into a strong leading line on the right. Visually very strong, and I like the image entire the more I look at it. Nice one, Cliff.

Cliff, it looks like a nice area to be with some good light. Not sure on the comp though. I would like to see more focus on the tree's and their reflection. I am a little distracted by the FG bush in the corner. Cropping that out and a hair from the right makes for a stronger image IMO.

Love the colors and the reflection of the trees. I am inclined to agree with Adrian, the bush is a little distracting.

Great setting and light. I like it as is, but would love to see a horizontal version that composes more tightly on the trunks and their reflections.

I didn't notice the green bush in the lower right at first because my eye was immediatly drawn up and to the right. I enjoy expressions of distance. I think the bush could be darkened a bit, but I really enjoyed this image.

Nice image with lots of possibilities...some of which might require waders or a rowboat. I like the image as is...and would like to see what else could be done with it.

I love the alder tree shapes, this is the sort of thing I pursue....with less success than you. I think the lrc is distracting b/c the leaves are so bright & maybe should be sharper....????

Thanks for all the comments. It was just a little wind blowing ever so often, so some of the leaves may have been moving some. The next nice evening i may head back here and try and get a better forground, it was late in the day. :o)

This looks like the same area as the other one...without the leaves!
