Beautiful Nick, superb feather detail and BG - I'd love to see that tiff printed 20x30  :wavey:

Hi Nick,

The only thing that bothers me about this and it is totally out of your control is the white stuff on it's beak. It just makes a perfect looking bird look a bit untidy. Other than that it's a top class image.

Regards

Rob

Nick,

For me this shot is made by the back ground colour and soft light. Great detail in the feathers, and nice composition.

Wish I was back there:-)

Think this printed 20x30 would scare small children!

Do it!

The green of the eye and the yellow of the beak repeats perfectly in the background.
Wonderful detailed feathers. I like the pose.
compliments,
Bertl

Thanks for the comments everyone - Bertl, well spotted with the colours :toast:. I was wondering if anyone would pick up on them.

I know what you mean about the beak Rob, although he'd let us close, it wasn't that close that we could clean it for him . Think the mess is chick bum-fluff/feathers as he was heading for a nest & had landed a bit short of it.
