Puffin in flight

I was after a head on shot and wanted to try and keep some movement in the wings. Having ignored several hundred 'almost' fly pasts, this chap came in on just the right flight path.

Can't decide whether to clone out the cliff tops in the background, or whether that gives it a better feeling of place.... thoughts?

Usual stuff in LR. 5% off the top.

Good shot Dave. Definitely leave background as is. On my monitor it looks as if it could do with a little more contrast to pep it up a bit.

looks like your MkIII AF works fine Dave.

Subject is well isolated from the BG, which looks nice too, and the comp has just the right amount of "looking-room" for the puffin.

Nice job sir :wavey: :wavey:

I like this very much - only having been to Seahouses a couple of weekends ago when all sailings were cancelled - some of the pleasure in this shot is a little diminished!!
I like the composition and the contrasting colours in the background.

I like this. Unusual flight shot angle for a Puffin too.

Nicely done, a tad more contrast just to make it pop a little more would be great in my humble opinion. But otherwise works well for me.
