Black Darter covered in dew.
Canon 10D, Sigma 180mm, F16, 1/60, iso 100, Tripod Cable release.

Taken two years ago and there are three images combined.

I remember this morning very well, as they were the conditions I had dreamed of for a long time. The night before was very calm and clear, so I new there was a very good chance of dew in the morning. When I went out side we had the very first frost of the year, and being the first few days of October, I new there was a chance of some Black Darters still being around. And I was pleased to have found this one just as the sun was rising. And I was able to use the shadow of a tree to make to dark background.
