Lots of significant new features. Looks like a very worthwhile upgrade for $99.
I'm heading out of town, so it probably won't be until mid August before I get a chance to play.

I'm really glad to see they have improved file management across multiple disks.
Have you tried this? Any problems?

Scott Kelby has a very good compendium of LR2's new features (pros & cons) at his blog.

Does anyone know if images larger than 10k x 10k pixels are supported yet?

You can get 15% off until the end of July using this promo. code: PIA06

Bill - the file management across multiple discs is much improved and really solid, at least on my system (Mac mini, OS X Leopard). But nNetworked libraries still not there yet.

Craig - the new file size limit is 65,000 pixels on a side.

IMO the localized adjustment tools alone are worth the upgrade. Photoshop is gradually slipping into my past...

John, I tried the code on the main Adobe shopping cart and it said, "Promotion not valid at this store". Any idea what that means?

Erik,
This link will take you to the right place.

It appears that all Adobe software is discounted at that particular section of the Adobe store.

Thanks John, I got it! Also, I just read on the LR Forums that they have discovered a small bug that doesn't play nice with version 1.x keywords. They think they have a fix, but it hasn't been rolled out yet. It might be wise to wait a little while to upgrade, unless you are cheap like me and want the discount.
