I've been using the beta for a couple of months. Not near as clunky. The brush tool is true winner. I've gone back and re-worked a few troublesome shots that I, previously, had to pull into photoshop. Now I can REALLY get most of my editing done LR2. Kudos to Adobe for this much needed update.

Does anyone know if LR2 will accept larger files? I shoot large format as well as digital and would like to keep all the images together but LR1 wouldn't accept many of the LF drum scans because of size. This has forced me to work with those images in Bridge

According to this thread in the RMNP forum, the new file size limit is 65,000 pixels on a side.

LR2 will accept the large file sizes of 4x5 images after being drum scanned and even worked up in PS which brings some of them up to 700 - 800 mb! with the layers.

very nice, that alone was worth the upgrade for me
