Merry dance
One from the India trip in May. This Peacock danced and displayed as if his life depended on it. Taken about 7-7.30am

Glorious image, the green at the top draws my eye a little. Crop a little?

Really lovely colours but what I like the most is the angle - don't think I've seen a peacock taken this way before and it works so well and stands it apart from the full frontal shots

Lovely image Steve and I completely agree with Magnus about the point of view. But for me, the best thing is seeing what is obviously a wild bird in its natural setting as practically every peacock image I've ever seen has been of an ornamental bird.

Lovely shot, I agree entirely about the angle, really nice, and his tail really stands out against the blurred background.

Hello Steve.

Yes this works well for me lovely bird in a nice setting. What I like the most is the end of the feathers, they really stand out against the lighter background.

The control of DOF is abundant here and fact that it is in it's natural surroundings just makes it for me. Shame it used a well used track to pose on but that does not distract away from a super image. Agree about the angle, very different and works extremely well.
