Patrick,
I have spent a lot of time in Hocking Hills over the years and it is a great place to photograph. You are going during one of the more challenging times as the water levels will most likely be a trickle in Old Man's Cave gorge including the upper & lower falls. Ask Mother Nature for the favor of a little rainfall before and during your visit to help out. One of my favorite hikes is the easily overlooked Conkles Hollow Rim Trail which is always one of the better photo ops IMO. You can scout it out one afternoon/evening for a shoot then look at returning for a sunrise shoot once you are familiar with the area. Take a flashlight or headlamp to help you get out safely if you stay for sunset or start early enough for sunrise. Aside from that explore with a creative mind the recessed caves and rock outcroppings for some unique opportunities. Hope this helps a little and good luck.
